We have seen the benefits of using this old technology. People are more aware of the environment and its effects on the environment. But, what happens if they don’t make bi-folders?

Which Technology End Truckers?
I’ve heard it said that the only truckers’ technology that really matters is trucking technology, the only technology that matters to the operator. What about those of us who are truck drivers and don’t have all of this trucking technology we are so interested in? There are other truck drivers out there that uses some pretty old technology and they have learned to do so.
The one thing they’ve learned is to have a full air horns blaring and still drive safely. They don’t run the truck on electricity. They have something called control collars and that makes a difference in how the truck will respond to power steering and the whole chain system.
Well, you know the rest of it. So, just for the heck of it, I started looking at some of the old radar detectors and they don’t run on electricity. They will run on DC but only for short periods of time and when they do they are so expensive.
Also, they were small in size. Maybe they got stuck on the highway and couldn’t go anywhere else. It is amazing how much money can be saved by the use of these contraptions instead of the new electronic gizmos.
I was watching an ad on TV and I don’t know how they get millions of dollars a year just from some of these new things for trucks, but they have savings that can be enormous. To me, it was like all of the money they were spending on the diesel was money not going into the roads. They also save fuel by not having to use the electrical to run the apparatus.
These other truckers are just as tired of hearing the price of gas talking and so far down the road they haven’t seen it coming. If the military told us where all the weapons are being stored. We would not only think about the effect on the price of gasoline, but we would also have to think about where they are actually being stored. Also, our forces wouldn’t go bankrupt just because we weren’t paying attention.
How can we think about keeping up with inflation when we are not using the old trucks for trucking anymore? Don’t tell them that, but they would find out if we didn’t do something about the big trucks. Then we would be in big trouble.
We have never thought about using our old cars for anything other than to take the family to and from work. Now, it seems like we are giving them away. Let’s not make things worse for ourselves.
The US Army test there is that if they want to find out what it is like to drive their vehicles in an urban environment, they have to stay in those trucks for three days. That may be alright for our air conditioners and computers but what about all the power steering systems? Did we use that in college?
There are more changes happening in our society every day and it’s hard to keep up with everything. Sure, all of these changes sound great to me but the reality is we don’t have the oil reserves or the technology for many of them. When we have more people in these trailers, the new trailers will go along way in saving energy and saving money.
Truckers in general, especially the military, need to wake up and realize that everything is dependent on our oil supply. There’s no option but to start using the whole fleet. And, yes, I’m afraid the military has gotten away with using diesel because they are using it in trucks.
