Biochemistry is the study of the life forms that are present in nature. This includes the study of proteins, cells, genes, hormones, metabolisms, etc.

It was discovered that the changes biomolecules make on other molecules can affect the activity of other proteins in order to affect many processes of living systems. These effects do not result in damage to the organism. It is believed that this has the power to change human life on earth forever.
